These terms set out, in plain English, how we work together when you book spray painting with South East Spray Team. Booking a job, or accepting a quote from us, means you accept these terms.
Who these terms cover
They apply to any spray painting work carried out by South East Spray Team ("we", "us", "our") for you ("you", "the customer"), and to your use of this website.
Our services
We spray uPVC windows, doors and conservatories, garage doors, kitchens, exterior render and masonry, and commercial and industrial surfaces. The exact work, colour, finish and price for your project are set out in your written quote before any work starts.
Quotes and pricing
- Quotes are free and, unless we say otherwise, valid for 30 days.
- Any prices shown on this website are rough guides only — your actual price comes from your own written quote.
- If the work turns out to be materially different from what we quoted (for example, hidden damage or extra surfaces), we will explain this and agree any change in writing before carrying on.
Booking, access and preparation
- A deposit may be requested to secure your booking and cover materials; this will be confirmed in your quote.
- You agree to give us safe access to the areas being sprayed on the agreed dates.
- Please clear personal items from the work area beforehand. We mask and protect surrounding surfaces as part of our process.
- Spraying is weather-dependent for exterior work; we may reschedule outdoor jobs where conditions would affect the finish.
Our 10-year guarantee
We guarantee our spray finishes for 10 years against flaking, peeling and fading under normal use, in writing on every project. The guarantee does not cover:
- Accidental damage, impact, abrasion or misuse after we have finished
- Failure of the underlying surface, frame or substrate that was not caused by our work
- Work, alterations or repairs carried out by anyone else on the sprayed surfaces
- Normal wear, or damage from harsh or unsuitable cleaning products
If you think something is covered, contact us and we will inspect it and put right any genuine defect in our workmanship.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your quote or invoice. We may charge interest on overdue invoices in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us as much notice as you can. Where a booking is cancelled at short notice we may charge a reasonable fee to cover materials already bought or time already committed.
Our liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our work is limited to the value of the relevant contract, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Your consumer rights
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill.
Intellectual property
The text, images, logo and design of this website belong to South East Spray Team or our licensors, and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above.
